GTBuy under $20 buying checklist: what to verify after you filter
A low item estimate is a starting point. Check the selected option and the charges outside the card.

Basis & references ↓A worked example from this snapshot
These two T-shirt references both pass the under-$20 filter in the 23 Oct 2026 snapshot. Their source item amounts differ by ¥3.
| Reference | USD item estimate | CNY source amount | QC references |
|---|---|---|---|
| Casablanca Black Graphic T-Shirt | $17.92 | ¥129 | No count supplied |
| Hellstar Mint Blue Graphic T-Shirt | $18.33 | ¥132 | No count supplied |
The price difference does not establish which fits better or has better materials. Measurements, option-specific confirmation and a delivered quote are still missing. Open each reference and use “Copy item questions” to keep those checks with its exact name.
Open the full under-$20 filter to see entries whose entire supplied USD range falls within the ceiling. The filter removes a range such as $18–22, even though its lowest value is below $20. Missing estimates are excluded.
Choose one product type first
A T-shirt, belt and bag can all pass the same price filter while answering different needs. Choose a category and, if useful, a brand before comparing prices. Switch to List view when you want the names and amounts in compact rows.
Check the exact option
A feed range does not tell us which colour, size or version costs the low amount. Open the detail page, copy the product name and find the relevant entry at the external destination. Check the chosen option before recording its current price.
Separate the known and unknown costs
Record item price, domestic delivery, service or payment fees and the international quote in different fields. If packing weight or the route is still unknown, mark shipping as “quote needed”. An empty field is not evidence that delivery is free.
Keep a filtered copy
Export CSV to keep all matching records, then add your option and confirmed costs. Keep the source currency visible. Read the full GTBuy budget guide for a cost-record table and the shipping checklist before requesting a parcel quote.
When the cheaper item stops being cheaper
Hypothetical comparison: item A is $18 with $4 domestic delivery; item B is $20 with $1 domestic delivery. Their known subtotals are $22 and $21 before international shipping or other fees. Both can pass the item filter, but A is already more expensive on the known figures. If either delivery charge is missing, keep that comparison incomplete. In the cost planner, record the source amount and your conversion rate separately; do not add CNY directly to USD. A shortlist is ready for a price decision only when the same option, quantity and included charges have been confirmed.

Questions about this topic
How does the under $20 filter work?
A listing is included only when the upper end of its supplied USD estimate is $20 or less. An $18–22 range is excluded. A listing without a usable estimate is excluded too. Delivery and service charges are extra.
Browse under $20What currency do the cards and budget filters use?
Cards and budget filters use USD estimates supplied by the catalog feed. The original CNY listing amount is retained in product details and exports. The estimate is not a live exchange rate, an exact-option quote or the final amount payable.
Understand the price fieldsAre prices and availability live?
No. This directory uses the most recent successfully imported catalog snapshot. A listing update date and the catalog refresh date describe different events. Neither confirms stock at the moment you browse.
